Background
Its an unfortunate fact that the police simply don’t have the resources to effectively deal with the low level crime and anti social behaviour that plagues the business community every day. This means that business has had to take on its own security in order to mitigate losses and disruption to customers.

Generally this self policing is done by business and groups of businesses organising itself around two way radios, security guards, cctv and incident logs.

The IMIS platform has been designed to bring all of these disparate crime prevention tools into a single integrated system.

Because the platform is run over the internet there are no geographical boundaries to its use. Users can instantly communicate with each other from building to building or region to region and intelligently share information, pictures, video, witness statements and incident files.

The platform can be used anywhere in the world where an internet connection is available and is also completely portable via a mobile phone or PDA wherever there is a 3G signal or WiFi connection.
